Update 02/25/2024


Hello, lots of changes this time; originally meant to be mainly database changes, a lot of suggestions were presented to me in the process and since I was in the middle of writing this update anyways, so I thought to include them.

  • Rulebook 0.13.3 (And Planeswalker Sheet 5.9)
    • Color Symbols updated (Rulebook and Planeswalker sheet)
    • Leveling
      • +1 Command Slot moved from level 20 to level 12 alongside the Prepared Abilities increase (Level 8’s Abilities increase becomes +2 from +1).
      • New Added mechanic “Mastered Spark” as the Level 20 feature
        • Burnout can be removed by spending 10 Spark as an Action on your Turn.
        • (A suggestion offered, will monitor as games get played)
    • Archetypes
      • Archetypes Sorted into Basic and Advanced Archetypes
      • New Advanced Archetypes
        • Chronodrifter and Forgemaster
      • Equipment
        • Warlock starting Equipment changed Heavy Armor to Medium
        • Bard Granted Medium Weapon as Starting Weapon option
        • Druid no longer can start with a Heavy Weapon
        • Assassin granted Medium Weapon as Starting Weapon option
      • Passives
        • Magician’s Parlor Trick now only triggers the first time the chosen spell is Cast each turn.
        • Artificer’s Stored Spell now also counts as Casting the Spell (reverted slightly from previous change)
    • Tags
      • New: Amass X - Creatures Create X Token Copies of themselves when they enter the battlefield. 
      • New: Manifest - The Caster of the Creature Spell becomes a Copy of the Creature (In addition to being a Planeswalker if applicable).
      • Detained - now also stops Skill Activation.
  • Database Updates
    • Effects that make things–usually Artifacts or Creatures– are clarified to be Tokens
    • Abilities
      • Some Abilities “1 Turn” changed/clarified to last until the start of your/their next Turn
        • Armored Heart
        • Invisibility
        • Puppet Strings
        • Scrambleverse
        • Death’s Row
      • Tricky (Blue Mastery)
        • clarified to automatically fail your Action, not the enemy’s Action
      • Spiteful Specter (Black 1st Tier Skill)
        • Removed first scaling
      • Assemble the Machines (Red Signature)
        • -1 Speed increased to +0 Speed
      • Natural Evasion (Green Mastery)
        • When you Sprint outside of your Turn, gain X additional feet of movement instead, where X is your total movement.
      • Masterful Replication (Blue Spell)
        • Signature given a Range of Nearby
        • Tiered Spell Tier increased to 4 from 3
      • Rushed Replication (Red Spell)
        • Tier increased to 3
      • Relic Crush (Green Tiered Spell)
        • Tier increased 3 and added “Nonlegendary” to the restriction
      • New Gilded Pinions
        • Colorless Signature Artifact
      • New Fleetfeather Sandals
        • Colorless 2nd Tier Artifact
    • Items
      • Satchel - Turned into a Trinket w/ 0 weight, Changed Max Load to +3 from +2
      • Weapons
        • New Ranged Weapon - Throwing Daggers
          • Removed before, re-added with new tags
        • Longsword Weight increased to 3 from 2
        • Spear and Quaterstaff no longer have Finesse
        • Hatchet Thrown reduced to Nearby range
        • Mace given Versatile, Armor increased to 2
        • Wooden Club Armor reduced to 1
        • Shortbow weight increased to 1
        • Rapier and Shortsword names swapped
        • Blasting Staff given Two-Handed and weight increased to 3
        • Staff renamed to Ceremonial Staff
        • Ancient Scripture tags reworked
